EcoWin has joined an environmental school project in Nepal. This project is run together with local representatives in Kathmandu in Nepal. The purpose of this project is to give the children living in the streets of Kathmandu a possibility to choose a different future.

At the moment the Watabaran Education Center has 16 students. The school is run with native teachers working together with Swedish personnel living in Nepal. The basics; reading, writing and arithmetic are taught while, at the same time, the school is carrying out an environmental project. In addition to the learning the basics, students will also get practical training, making it possible for them to earn their own living after leaving the school. We plan to turn the over the entire operation of the school to the native teachers themselves within a couple of years.
