Dear Reuters EcoWin Pro user,
EcoWin was acquired by global news and financial information
company Reuters on November 11, 2005. EcoWin’s data
and software complement the company, as financial data and
news are Reuters’ traditional strengths. The acquisition
will enable a great deal of focus on and investment in EcoWin
products and services.
Moreover, Reuters will focus Reuters EcoWin Pro development
on bringing more power and functionality to the application.
EcoWin customers will move to a direct relationship with Reuters
in 2006 when EcoWin is fully integrated with Reuters Research
and Asset Management division.

Argentina
The coverage of Argentina has been enlarged with more data
on Foreign direct investments sourced from MECON (Balance
of payments category).
Armenia
The Armenian content now includes Industrial production indices,
Gross domestic product data and Consumer prices.
China
The Chinese data content has been substantially enlarged with
more data on FDI growth rate by sector, Average number of
persons/employees per household by city and Average number
of persons/employees per household by region while the Surveys
category now includes Per capita income and expenditure of
urban households, Per capita income of urban households by
region and Entrepreneur expectation index.
Czech republic
Core inflation from the Czech Statistical Office is now available.
Denmark
More data on Sales by industry, Foreign trade by commodities,
Foreign trade indices and New vehicle registrations are now
available for Denmark.
Hungary
Hungarian data coverage has been extended with a Construction
output volume index.
Italy
Italian content has been substantially increased with more
data on Wages by employee per sector.
Japan
Manipulator and Robot shipments production sourced from the
Japan Robot Association, together with Inflation data on Petroleum
products, Telephone charges and Goods & services sourced
from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications,
are now available for Japan.
Kenya
Kenya has been added to the database, with data on Balance
of payments, Foreign finance, Foreign trade, National accounts,
Monetary surveys and Consumer prices.
Macedonia
Labour force survey and Current, Capital and Financial accounts
are available for Macedonia.
New Zealand
The Construction category for New Zealand now includes Median
days to sell sourced from The Real Estate Institute of New
Zealand.
Nicaragua
National accounts, Industrial production and Manufacturing
production covering Nicaragua are now available.
Russia
Russian content now includes Cargo transport volumes.
South Africa
Substantial amounts of data on Subgroups for production and
turnover have been added for South Africa.
Spain
Spanish Housing prices sourced from the Ministerio de Fomento
are now available.
United Kingdom
UK content now includes Housing completions and Housing starts
