| EcoWin
data in EViews |
 |
EViews
users can now benefit from the wide range of data available
from EcoWin.
Access to EcoWin data is based around the addition of a new
type of database to the list of existing database types supported
by EViews.
Most
of the user interface provided to EcoWin data follows the
behaviour of the standard interface provided to all other
types of databases from within EViews.
|
| This
includes the following features: |
- an
interactive graphical window can be opened to an EcoWin
database that allows browsing of series in the database,
selection of series, and copying/exporting of series into
an EViews workfile or another EViews database.
-
a set of commands are available that can be used either
interactively or within programs written by EViews users
to perform tasks such as fetching a particular series by
mnemonic from a selected EcoWin database.
