| EcoWin
and Reuters |
 |
EcoWin was acquired by global news and financial information
company Reuters on November 11 2005, a significant step to
build the value of Reuters products and services by adding
high-value content and applications to them.
EcoWin’s
data and software complement the company & financial data
and news that are Reuters traditional strengths. This acquisition
will enable a great deal of focus and investment in EcoWin’s
products and services. Selected, relevant data from EcoWin’s
databases will be added to Reuters core products -- Reuters
3000 Xtra, Reuters Station and Reuters Knowledge -- throughout
2006.
In addition, Reuters will be focusing development on Reuters
EcoWin Pro to build more power and functionality into the
application. EcoWin customers will move to a direct relationship
with Reuters in 2006 as EcoWin is fully integrated with Reuters
Research and Asset Management division. |
